Re: Pre-Booking Maruti FRONX - Need Help

1) Its not normal but you can go ahead and do that.

2) Yes its okay and safe if you pay cash for booking the vehicle I have done it before.

3) For pre-booking/booking Aadhar card and Driving Licence are sufficient.

Why do you want to pay cash? I booked 3 different cars paying online using gpay without even visiting the dealer.

Additional Query:

All dealers are charging 3k for something known as "Consumables" and adding to final on-road price.

I have read around internet and it seems i ideally should not pay anything extra like such charges, but then what you all say ?

Re: Maruti Fronx @ Auto Expo 2023

Had a chance to check out the Fronx today as it was unveiled at my nearest Nexa showroom. Have to say it's quite a looker! Kudos to Maruti designers for taking a baleno and converting it into this. Overall the interiors and finishing seem better than the Baleno and the raised stance and better ground clearance make this an attractive city car. And the 1 L boosterjet with the 6 AT sounds sweet. If Maruti prices this well it will sell like hot cakes. SA said test drives will commence by end of this month and deliveries would begin by April.

With the new Maruti designs, the Nexa showrooms are looking good. There is one thing missing though....The Jimny!!

It is mentioned in some you tube channels that the launch date of Maruti Fronx is on March 15. Any idea?

Every dealership says that the Fronx will have the price unveil in the 1st week of April with deliveries commencing 1-2 weeks from that point.

It has been a really long wait from booking the car in January with no real updates for months

Fronx versus Grand Vitara side by side comparo-

As much as Fronx looks like a beefed up Baleno, the crossover's fascia resembles Grand Vitara pretty much. It seems a perfect blend of Baleno and Grand Vitara.

Re: Maruti Fronx @ Auto Expo 2023

The biggest challenge for all CSUVs is managing the backseat legroom, and looks like FRONX will beat the competition hands down.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx dealer dispatches begin in India

Maruti Suzuki has started dispatching the Fronx crossover to dealerships across India. While pre-bookings are already open, prices are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx made its debut at Auto Expo 2023. It is based on the Heartect platform and features a Grand Vitara-inspired front fascia with a large grille and a split headlamp design. It gets a dual-tone interior with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, 6-airbags, cruise control, a 360-degree camera heads-up display and over 40 connected car features.

The Fronx will be offered with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 99 BHP and 147 Nm and a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 89 BHP and 113 Nm. Customers will get a choice of a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic and an AMT.

Reports suggest that Maruti is also working on a Fronx CNG. It is expected to use the 1.2-litre engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Re: Maruti Fronx @ Auto Expo 2023

Can I be honest ? This car looks like a Kwid, if it went to the gym. Baleno had a very pleasant design / body language. The Brezza was butch and worked for a few people ( Aesthetically).

Its the same case what M&M faced with the TUV300. It looked fantastic from the front, but the rear let it down, and in a bid to stay under 4m, it killed its looks from a side profile.
