Here I disagree a bit. Though the TCR is similar to the bigger vehicles, the overall length and width of Jimny will make turning easier.
The reason for bigger TCR in Jimny is the rigid front axle design (XUV500 or Compass have independent front suspension/axles). This design requires spherical joint at wheel ends, which has turning angle limitation as compared to CV joint. However, the spherical joint is much more rugged and doesn't suffer from rubber boot cut problem (as there isn't any).
The most awaited launch will happen in the second week of May.

It looks like 50,000+ is the combined number for Fronx and Jimny. Jimny accounts for half of those numbers according to the Financial Express report.
With media drives scheduled for May 21-24, looks like the price reveal and official launch will only happen in June?

They seem to have chosen the test drive spots well. Doon - Dehradun makes good sense because this Jimny is ideal for those narrow hill roads and high mountain trails.
Hopefully there will be some interesting feedback from the ‘chosen-ones’ in the Auto Journalists fraternity on the Jimny’s overall handling, fuel efficiency, maneuverability, ride quality , luggage space and behaviour both on and off the road.

Yes, it is being displayed at all Nexa dealers one by one. I saw it at Sai Service Nexa in Aundh and another showroom on Mum-Bangalore highway near Baner on different set of days. But no idea of the exact schedule.

Sooo good to see a Jimny in a colour other than that loud garish yellow. Seriously, my eyes were hurting from that bling-bling. :) In my town, some 10-15 year back, I used to see some youngsters getting their used old jalopies painted in this blinding yellow shade by roadside garages with giant Ferrari stickers splashed across doors and a muffler-less exhaust, driving up and down beach road. Please Maruti, give us some sober colours.
Does anyone in Mangalore know when the Jimny will arrive at the local Nexa? I've been driving past them every other day hoping to see it there.
