This looks different and in a good way. With the touted feature list, it would fit perfectly in the 12 to 18 lakhs segment. I feel it will be a sister car to Seltos with the USP being a different form factor.
It will be interesting to see how this evolves.

Since you mentioned there's not even a single automatic car from Hyundai without sunroof, I would like to mention few models & variants without sunroof in their current lineup.

-Hyundai I10 Nios & Aura (All AMT variants) - No sunroof
-Hyundai Exter (S AMT) - No sunroof
-Hyundai I20 (Sportz IVT) - No sunroof
-Hyundai Alcazar (All Diesel AT variants) - No sunroof

According to the leaked details, the Kia Syros will measure 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,665mm in height, while the wheelbase is rated at 2,550mm. Additionally, the SUV will have a claimed bootspace of 465 litres.

This makes dimensions almost similar to Brezza and Sonet.

I am looking to replace my 2022 Tata Punch MT with a Small Practical Hatchback/Crossover. EV makes better sense for my city only usage.

Kia could be experimenting here with a differentiated body style. Could be a hit if priced right but i fear it will somehow cannibalize both the Sonet & Seltos a bit.

Till now, every detail about the Syros, except everything you saw in Kia's official video, are just rumors. Whether it's an EV or Hybrid or just a petrol car, we don't know it yet. Wait for 2 more days and you can make the decision then.

In early or mid November I saw 5 of these vehicles being test driven from KIA towards Hebbal. As usual they were camouflaged with "No Photography Allowed" stickers around the car tarpaulin. Was wondering which car is this and from which manufacturer. They had AP TC registration so guessed it would be a new KIA model as only KIA has a factory in AP.
