I am going to take delivery of my XL6 ZETA in march but was wondering if it is E20 fuel compliant or not. Speaking to dealership, they seems to suggest that it is compliant.

Is there something that i should worry about. Pls help.

Was checking XL6 Owner's Manual available online, Posting allowed blend of Gasohol(Gasoline+Ethanol) is only 10% , So only E10 fuel can be put into, as per official documentation. hope this helps.

My dealer has informed me that the Hyundai i20 has been updated and now supports E20 and is Bharat Stage 6.2 compliant. There are many videos on YouTube corroborating the same.

So, i20 can be added to the list of E20 compliant cars.

Indian oil confirmed the percentage of ethanol blending of their higher RON fuels the XP95 and XP100 to me via instagram. I for one, did not like the 12% they add for XP95. 99% of vehicles sold so far can take upto 10% ethanol only and they have been selling this at 12%. Will the new Fronx from Maruti Suzuki be E20 compliant? As its a new model getting launched in few days can I expect full compatibility? If not, I may cancel my booking!!

As per Toyota Innova Hycross owners manual, Hycross is E10 complaint.
Toyota should have at least launched a new model like Hycross E20 complaint right from the beginning as only after 2 months since production they will have to make it E20 complaint as per new rule.

Fronx has 2 engine options; 1.2L Engine which is same like in Baleno and new 1L TGDI engine. Having said that, 1.2L Baleno Engine is E20 Material complaint (refer to owner's manual) but looks like not E20 fuel optimized, So expect slight drop in performance and fuel efficiency (~5-8%).
1L TGDI engine, are unknown area though with respect to E20 fuel compatible.
Ideally OEM should Alteast make it clear during product launch. In any case, it is safer to go with 1.2L Engine at this point of time.

No engine is E20 optimised. SIAM says that E20 optimised engines will only happen by 2024 onwards.

I am in the market to replace my 2016 Figo DCT and have been waiting for E20 compliant cars to hit the market in order to proceed with my purchase. However, I now see things like "E20 materials compliance" and "engine compliance by 2024/25" in multiple places on the web. So, does this mean if I buy a new car now, it is still not a fully E20 compliant vehicle and there might yet be issues a few years down the line when E20 fuel becomes mandatory ?
This leads me to wonder if keeping my Figo DCT or purchasing a used car like a City CVT now and working towards a Hybrid/EV in a few years might not be a better option.
I would love to hear your opinion on this ?

While I haven’t heard positively from the Škoda twitter, I wanted to know if there indeed has been any Official confirmation on e20 compatibility for the existing 2.0 TSI petrols from VAG yet or not?

Another turbulent period for car owners. I just wish if we can manage the present car till the time market get optimized engine. The transition is too fast as we are running out of time as per Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

As per the information received from a sales person at a Skoda dealership in Gurgaon, both Octavia and Superb have been discontinued for now mainly due to the BS6.2 compliance issues. Skoda has decided to upgrade Kushaq and Slavia first.
