The Q2 was introduced in India back in October 2020. The SUV was imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and was priced between Rs. 34.99-48.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Audi Q2 was based on the VW Group’s MQB platform. In India, the SUV was offered with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produced 187 BHP and 320 Nm. The engine was paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

With the Audi Q2 being discontinued, its place has been taken by the new Q3, which was launched in August this year. It is available in two variants at a starting price of Rs. 44.89 lakh.

I thought Q2 had been discontinued in 2021 itself. Guess I was wrong !
Probably picks the award for the most overpriced car by far amongst quite a few competitors.

Q2 was disaster in terms of pricing. Q3 has been priced on higher side. No diesel option will keep enthusiasts away for sure.
