I’ve finally booked a Range Rover Sports CKD, expected delivery is between August and September.



Any tips on the pricing? No discounts were offered, but the sales advisor said they could give a discount on the insurance.

Congratulations! I believe the handling charges can definitely be reduced a lot. The Side steps and mud flaps / floor mats seems extremely costly. Do you have the break of the Side steps cost and the mud flaps / floor mats cost separately? Definitely might have room for negotiation there.

These price hikes are exorbitant. I invoiced my MY2024 XC60 on 30th Dec2023 and registered in Jan2024 with an OTR of 70L net. This did not include accessories and service plan but everything else was included.

We are paying nearly three times the road tax in Bangalore.
BTW, insurance is typically around 1.4 Lakhs for a car of this price. They just show an exorbitant number and give discount just to play with our minds.

That being said, North seems to be getting better discounts than South.

Looking to get a E220D. Local dealers are offering 3L off on MY24, 6L off on MY23 and about 1.5L professional discount.

Anyone getting better deals, or is this reasonable? Not looking to wait for the next gen E.

Yesterday, got call from my contacts in 2 dealerships in Bangalore offering discounts on X3 M40i. As I was not interested, did not get into the details. May be worth trying just to get a feel of the discounts and how much more could be negotiated (not sure if discounts are relatable across cities though)

No point in booking it. The next generation X3 has already been showcased in international markets. I hope it comes to our shores by end of the year. A fast 2.0 turbopetrol with a mild hybrid sysyem connected to it, makes 258 HP and 400 NM. If we are lucky, we will get M50 variant - with a stonker of a tune of the famed B58 engine, making 393 HP and 580 NM. Bring it on, baby!
