Or for that matter a Skoda Kodiaq 7 seater, more power at 190Bhp, almost an equivalent European fit and finish and a fine riding vehicle with DCC. For that Brand name alone Merc scores, else a kodiaq ticks most boxes better than GLB. Top end Skoda Kodiaq L&K on-road price is 50 lakhs in Bangalore almost knocking the doors of luxury SUVs and GLB base variant would be atleast 75 on road !! Would you spend another 25 Lakhs to get that 3 stars is the question buyers will have to churn the mind for.

For me the GLB would only make sense for the fact that my doggo can sit comfortably in the last row, if he is in the second row then there is constant moving from one window to the other, after which both my kids get irritated, but I own a Kodiaq and the boot space with all seats UP is surely more in the Kodiaq. But wifey like the 3 pointed star, so will have a look at it once just to see it in flesh.

Hi Team-BHPians,

I have a really interesting problem.

My Benz GLB 200 fuel tank door won’t open.

Luckily I have some petrol in my car to reach the nearest Benz showroom in Bangalore.

But my biggest question is how would the showroom guys open it. It just seems to be jammed from the inside.

I really never expected to be in such a pickle.

Check the instruction manual. There must be a lever or pull cord in the boot area to release the fuel lid

Am assuming there will be some kind of service point, like the knob here or perhaps some electrical fuse. It can be a malfunction of the relay that's holding the contact or some simple mechanical jamming somewhere.

Maybe disconnect battery once and try if suggestions given by others are not working out
