I'm sorry, I meant to say that I wanted the Alpha+.

Maybe even better quality cameras for it to work flawlessly, but I doubt it considering the price cut.

Is the invicto 2.5l cheaper than equivalent Hycross. If yes, the hycross waiting period will shift to invicto. Is the zeta+ equivalent to the vx(o)

Has anyone received the brochure or the feature matrix? I couldn't find it on the website. I am not sure if the Zeta+ will be equivalent to the VXO. For example, I am pretty sure Zeta+ won't have the panoramic roof.

You are right, Pano roof is available only in Alpha+. However 6 airbags is standard with Invicto. With Hycross you need to go VX(O) to get 6 airbags. So good option for those who don't fancy sunroof but want 6 airbags. Also Zeta+ gets smaller 8 inch Head unit.

According to the Economic Times, the car does indeed have ottoman seats. Link here

Now the article may be wrong but I hope it isn't.

Re: Maruti Invicto | Re-badged Innova Hycross

Seeing the prices , that too from a brand like Maruti Suzuki, people are melting down or rather wondering how could Maruti overpriced a rebadged Innova HyCross?

One must understand that the invicto is completely sold as a proper hybrid vehicle. And these prices are decent. Maybe it would be short of some equipment but it should be okay as long as there is something for each customer and also easing the booking and waiting timelines for the brands in general.

Going to cancel my booking too if the ottoman is skipped. In all likelihood it is not there or they would have definitely highlighted it.

Re: Maruti Invicto | Re-badged Innova Hycross

The Zeta+ is great value over Hycross VX because this one gets 6 Airbags.
The VX(O) gets sunroof too, but Zeta+ misses this.

I think this is a very good price for 6 airbags VX option.

Re: Maruti Invicto | Re-badged Innova Hycross

The zeta+ variant lacks the following features:
1. TPMS
2.360-degree camera, it only gets a rear camera also no rear sensors
3. Front and rear parking sensors
4. Rear Defogger

Honestly the omission of TPMS and parking sensors, the rear Defogger just does not make sense, these features are basic needs, not any novelty.

Hycross VX and above gets all these features.

I can't digest the fact that they used post-processing to make the black interior look more pleasing and inviting.

I wonder if there will be aftermarket fog lamps available for the same spot as Hycross. I would really like one, preferably a bi-laser projector, just because why not? With slightly bigger tires and aesthetic alloys, it will definitely look better. I'm confused between Stellar Bronze and Majestic Silver. I will need to see them in person for the final choice, though I'm really liking the bronze. I hope my Hycross arrives earlier.

Perhaps those are the features that MSIL decided to omit in order to offer the car at a more affordable price. Hey, at least it comes with 6 airbags.

It also misses out on

1) Acoustic Windshield
2) Automatic Day/Night IRVM
3) Anti -Theft
4) Time adjustable intermittent stage
5) Body Coloured outside handles
6) It also seems to be missing out on some of the connected car features. My understanding is that in Hycross it is the same across all variants

Re: Maruti Invicto | Re-badged Innova Hycross

Invicto Zeta+ variant lacks the following features as compared to Hycross VX:
1. TPMS
2.360-degree camera, it only gets a rear camera also no rear sensors
3. Front and rear parking sensors
4. Rear Defogger
5. Acoustic Windshield
6. Automatic Day/Night IRVM
7. Anti -Theft
8. Time adjustable intermittent stage
9. Body Colored outside handles.
10. Missing Connected Car Features/ Application Support.

Top end model of Invicto loses out on JBL Sub-Woofer and Ottoman seats which was the highlight of Hycross ZX.
Premium after sales and service experience of an Invicto buyer is also questionable since they do not have separate service stations to house and service such huge cars.

Hence, Innova Hycross seems to be coming at a better value proposition. Anyone spending 30 lakhs plus Rupees will never compromise on basic features like defogger and Parking sensors. These are bare-minimum features. The Innova Brand may become more premium with the introduction of Invicto.
