Need to discourage people from buying more cars, Union transport & highways Minister!

It's ironic that the very Road Taxes collected to build and maintain roads come from car sales, the roads on which public buses ply. Considering the poor state of roads despite such huge number of cars, I can only wonder about the condition of roads once car sales drop and investment (or lack thereof) in public transport continues as usual.
