I had called up the customer care some days back to enquire about the same. They told me that M&M will be sharing the delivery dates soon and then before deliveries commence, booking cancellation option will be provided to customer.

I got a Jan 2023 delivery date and will have to rethink on this booking.

24th March onwards, Chandigarh, Z8 AT D 4x4
1st 25k bookings.

Similar for a Z6 AT D. In fact, that's Mid - March 2023.
The OTF is 23A0021xx on it.

Yes I checked again and cancel booking option is now available on automahindra.com. Also, can I know which variant did you book?

It's Z4 Diesel Manual. My current car Honda jazz has lived for 13 years now and unable to meet family needs.

My booking of Scorpio-N Z4 D AT (Introductory Price) in white with OTF23A0006XX shows a delivery date of 10 January - 9th February 2023.

Z8 D AT introductory. 3rd march -2nd april .
No date for non-introductory yet it is z8 D AT 4wd .
And the irony is i want z8D at 4wd

So all the L Model bookings will get delivered on priority regardless of price protection or not, the lower variant bookings (within 25K) still enjoy price protection regardless of when it gets delivered.

Good strategy, I guess cancellations will be minimal as is the case with XUV7OO. The ones who were sitting on the fence about whether to book ScorpioN or not now will straightaway ignore all other variants and book the L variant.

Almost the same delivery period for me as well for Z8 P MT black Color. Was part of initial 25k bookings.

But as you said this gives us chance to hear back real world feedback.

Correct. The production lines might have been prioritized for a specific model and Mahindra might have considered the 25000 bookings and accordingly planned the timelines with price protection. Next would be those who fit in the planned models and then they will provide the time lines to them post the 25K bookings are updated with delivery time. So in this it might so happen that someone outside the 25K might also get their higher variant before the price protected lower variant. Now what is the differential price is something M&M can update. we have heard that M&M is planning all AT variants of Z8L and we have already seen some members sharing timelines accordingly..

Also, one thing to note would be Black and White colors might see some deferred time lines owing to large number of bookings in various trims and configurations.

My price protected z8 d at 4wd is showing delivery date as march april 23. So no relief. We have to wait. Mahindra is totally ignoring Z8 variants booked.

My Z4 - D - AT- Napoli black shows the delivery date between Dec 1 to Dec 31 2022.

I think, Mahindra is doing what they indicated earlier, they are prioritizing all Z8L bookings ahead of others, may be even non introductory price bookings ahead of the first 25000 non Z8L bookings.

I booked a White Z8L 4x4 and my delivery date shows 26th Sep 2022 to 26th Sep 2022. Not sure if it means mine will be delivered on the first possible delivery date.

Happy with the delivery promise.

We are in the same boat sir. No logical insight except that MnM has kept a steep margin on Z8L and doesn't want cancellations because of delays. apart from that, any and all variants are being randomly manipulated.

Declaring an average waiting period of 4 months was a gimmick, consumers having to wait for 6- 9 months for cars to get delivered doesn't support that gimmick.

Mine is a price protected Z8 D AT 4WD. Mahindra Doesn't think I am any valuable to them and the delivery date is March- April 23.

What kind of assembly line is this where they cannot have flexibility to produce variants as per demand?
