Any idea if facelifted Nexon EV will also be launched alongside the ICE variants?

And any improvements in EV technicals. Range, power etc.?

If the facelift indeed does arrive at least in early 2024, it would definitely be on our list of cars we would be considering, Hope they bring in enough upgrades and give Mahindra a run for their money!

I believe the current Harrier/Safari are already giving Mahindra a run for their money.

While we all talk about XUV700 Tech loaded, but we miss to notice the features that Safari has over XUV700.. Ventilated Seats (front, Rear for 6S option), Auto Day Night Mirror, Middle Row Sliding seats, Electric Front Passenger Seat (including Electric Boss Mode),

With the new updated Touch Screen and ADAS features as also far quicker delivery than XUV700, it makes a great buy.

If one is considering lower models of XUV700, then lower models of Safari actually has far more features than AX7 or AX5 models

Re: Rumour: Tata Harrier mid-life facelift in the works; could get ADAS & Petrol engine option

Is there any expected timeline for the launch of facelift. I am eagerly waiting for it to finalize my next car. Thinking of Harrier as it appears to be of solid built, is comfortable for 3 adults in back seat and hopefully will provide all necessary features. The mental block is Tata's ASS despite their good products. Other options are Seltos 1.5 Turbo petrol DCT(one of the best looking and feature rich in the segment) but it's safety is a cause of concern and Honda elevate(appears to be reliable but misses out some important utilatiarian features and driving enthusiasm). Used to really like the looks of Kushaq but have almost ruled it out due to reliability concerns with DSG and being smaller than competition in the segment.

Looking at the sales figures of the XUV700 vs Harrier/Safari tells another story. And that is with the huge backlog that XUV700 already has.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...ml#post5583197 (Rumour: Mahindra XUV700 to get 5 new variants, 6-seater option)

Already taken care of by Mahindra.

Not sure about mid variants, but IIRC, the base variant of the XUV700 felt more VFM than the base variants of the Harrier/Safari, cheaper too (can't tell with the price rises). Personally liked TATA's approach of the XE variants, but for sake of the price:feature ratio argument, the XUV700 MX has an infotainment system, superior instrument cluster and electric adjust ORVMs, at a cheaper price than the TATA twins.

Ofcourse, the vulgarly long waiting list of the XUV700 turns things in favour of the Harrier/Safari. Time is money.

Re: Rumour: Tata Harrier mid-life facelift in the works; could get ADAS & Petrol engine option

Talked to a SA at KHT motors (Brookefield), seems the launch is in October with deliveries in 2-3 weeks post launch. He was unsure about petrol variant launch, which I think is a big miss from Tata considering it will completely alienate SUV heavy market like NCR and also dissuade people like me who do not want to drive a diesel. Fingers crossed!

He might not be aware of it. The 1.5 turbo petrol will almost certainly come for both Harrier and Safari. Mr. Shailesh Chandra has said this in multiple interviews. If it has failed in testing, that's another matter.

As posted in the Safari spotting thread, my nephew has spotted these being tested a few times. He was able to speak to one of the drivers, and had a quick chat. Key points:

The centre console has been modified, and now the left knee does not hit the centre console.

Refreshed interiors, esp the dashboard. Larger screens too.

Some exterior modifications including the headlamps.

Sales figures show that the XUV700 is selling almost double the Tata twins every month despite extremely long wait times, price hikes and feature deletions.
