I expect this topic to generate a lot of interest, since the Forester has a lot of fans here...Revvmaster, Dippy and many more (Not me though).

1: Overpriced initially
2: Not aggressively marketed - people do not know what it is all about
3: Not as butch-looking as a CRV
4: Confused identity - it is a subaru - launched as the first chevrolet in India
