I voted as D1 for the Tucson but while I'm typing this I'm not sure whether the Tucson falls under D1 or D2. On second thoughts, I think it falls under D2, and have mentioned the same here. Pls correct it if I'm wrong; I always get confused with these segments.

The poll shows an interesting spread. Despite C2 sedans considered a dying breed, I still see many BHPians owning C2 sedans, and the poll also shows the C2 segment occupying most of the pie (though the definition of pie in this case if not clear to me - see below). Just out of curiosity, is it possible to segregate C2 sedans Vs C2 SUVs?

Also, how are these percentages calculated? As an example, have approx. 29% BHPians voted for "Gearless motorbike/scooter" or approx. 29% of BHPians who have voted for 2-wheelers have voted for "Gearless motorbike/scooter"?

Just asking to visualize the complete pie, i.e., out of BHPians who have voted for 2-wheelers, what is the distribution b/w gearless & geared? With the current poll results, I am unable to visualize the same in 2-wheels and 4-wheels.

C2: VW Taigun GT+. Last ICE fun before moving to EVs.

Geared motorbike/scooter (150 - 350cc): Honda CBR 250R (ABS). Used for office commute as well as weekend rides.

Interesting poll, looks like the C2 and B2 segments are dominating here.

I have 4 vehicles at home, they are:-
C1 segment - Tigor Diesel, December 2017, 69K Km run.
A Segment - Alto K 10, October 2016, 72k Km run.
Gearless Scooter - Honda Dio, June 2010, 42k Km run, one major engine overhaul.
Geared Motorbike (150cc - 350cc) - Royal Enfield Classic 350, November 2012, 28K Km run.

Cars in A segment are slowly becoming less relevant. They are surely setting sales chart on fire every month, but a major proportion of that can be attributed to taxi and cab aggregators.
Another reason being; for 5 lakhs on road I can get a good used C1 or C2 segment car instead of an Alto 800!

BHPians generally demand the better of the lot, this reflects in ownership, as C2 & B2 segments have better premium offerings, no doubt they are the larger chunk in this poll.

Even if we look at 2 wheelers, while ignoring the automatic segment, the 150-350cc segment rules, thus a testimony that BHPians mostly prefer the better engine.
