I have been informed through a reliable source that government is on the verge of approving safety glazing films with approved visibility soon. OEM's will soon share the information and product for end user market.

Bumping this thread. I have my new car delivery next week in Mumbai and the place where I’m getting PPF done from was recommending garware sun control film. Completely confused on the legality. Any recent experiences of Team BHPians in Mumbai around the cops stopping for sun control films that are within the VLT limits ?

Kerala High court has come up with this judgement on a related case.
