Dare I say that the Hycross looks best among the competitors posted here. (No offence to the owners).

Quick question for those who've booked via dealership or online. Did the dealer actually provide a booking number/priority number against your booking?

I booked the ZX (O) at pioneer chandigarh on the 25th, and till now, no booking number has been send by the dealer? Only thing I've received the receipt of 50K that too is dated 4 days later after the actual booking date.

Curious how those who've booked are tracking their priority numbers with local dealerships?

Hi, I am in the same boat as you. Booked via dealer EM PEE Chandigarh and received only payment received receipt. Did you get any updates from the SA regarding booking number or priority yet?

Toyota has hit it out of the park in terms of design. So far, I only have one gripe with them. Why don't they provide a 8 seater option with ZX and ZX(O) variant?

I just don't understand why manufacturers do it :confused:

Congratulations. A Toyota would better your Hexperience !!

Hexa owner here. I have also booked a ZX hybrid. Same chain of thought - will proceed as a replaced for Hexa if the third row experience is equally good and if the pricing is palatable. HyCross is the closest like for like replacement for Hexa. Carens, Alcazar etc are too small and essentially a downgrade, Safari has no boot, while Carnival and Gloster are all 40L +.

Any idea as to when the media review(including our own T-bhp official review) will be going live ? I know some media event happened over the weekend and could be some embargo going on now.

Embargo is till 6 Dec, 12 PM I believe.

Embargo ends at 12pm December 6th so we can expect tons of review videos on 6th evening. But all vehicles were ZX and ZX(O) as per some article. People looking for detailed VX review might have to wait till Hycross hits the showrooms.

After seeing how the 3rd row is literally unusable after having 2nd row all the way back, I feel Carnival is a better 3-row car. There is good amount of leg space for 3rd row even after moving the 2nd row all the way back in Carnival. I think if we have to use the Ottoman seats in the 2nd row of Hycross, we should push the first-row seat all the way forward and push the 2nd row seat all the way back - we would be creating new enemies in the process lol: Only if the max passengers are 3 (including driver), the Ottoman seats can be utilized to its fullest.

Carnival is a size larger than this car and dare I say, not usable for daily city commute. Hycross will probably have the same third row space as that of Crysta. One can't expect to use ottoman seat feature with 6 passengers onboard. It's a novelty feature for occasional use and show off only. I just wish the AC is strong enough to accommodate the big sunroof for Indian summer.

In the same boat here. Only the dealer provider receipt 3 days post the start of bookings (day the cheque got cleared). Dealer provided order number. "We are like that only" is the answer to any question.

On a side not, I've dropped in a request to change my bookings from a ZX to a VX. Bench seat is essential for me. Would have loved ZX + Bench. But no logic into getting into that loop again.

VX (except for 2 air bags) seems to be decently equipped.

Now to watch out for the price.

I had actually hoped that they do not launch this car in basic plain white (not talking about the pearl white shade). The taxi image of a white Innova is very strong and has been so for 15 years now.
