Any details whether these safety features are available in manual variants? Most manufacturers usually offer features like ESC, VSM in automatic variants only.

Ok ok get it. Just below where it mentions "S" variant, it mentions MT in the same column. So it is there in MT variants also. This is good.

"S" variant of 1.2 MT makes sense. I'm a little old school. If i can buy a 4 cylinder versus 3 cylinder in same price range - I'll go for 4 cylinder.

Agreed turbo is way more exciting and powerful - but manufacturers are over pricing due to novelty factor. Fuel efficiency also varies a lot, depending upon how one drives. Plus fuel pump failures due to fuel quality issues possibly is another worry - though one can't generalise.

Having said that, 3 cylinder turbo petrols might become the norm in the future, and might be even more refined then.

Re: The Hyundai Venue N Line & Facelift. EDIT: 2022 Venue facelift launched at Rs. 7.53 lakh

Safety features getting standardized across variants makes me jealous. My Venue is 6 months old and has run just shy of 1500km. Seems like it is already old

Good to see manufacturers upping the ante on safety measures in the car.

Had done a 800km round trip last weekend and was thoroughly impressed with the car. I upgraded from the Brio AT to this iMT. Was very happy at being able to change gears at will especially in the hilly regions.

Only miss the hill hold control though. Have to actively increase the throttle to ensure it doesn't roll back. Suspension is good enough not to slow down for expansion joints in the bridges and it held its line very well in corners at good speeds as well.

Rear wiper still is not standard in this car. I am not sure if that costs too much for Hyundai to make it available across variants. Some silly work there.

A super upgrade otherwise from Hyundai. Will give competition to Brezza and Sonet. Sonet waiting period will push people towards Hyundai now.

Re: The Hyundai Venue N Line & Facelift. EDIT: 2022 Venue facelift launched at Rs. 7.53 lakh

Most cars that use piano black finish in the grill area would have it behind the main chrome/silver/etc grill, in the negative space so to speak. So the black would not be the primary focus when once looks at the car.

But here, it seems like there's a LOT of shiny piano black plastic front-and-center on the grill. Anyone who has piano black finish in their cars knows that it is an absolute scratch magnet. There's a lot of surface area right in front that would get nicely sand-blasted when bring driven . I can imagine that it will look very dull very fast. PPF?

Does the unveil display car already have a few blemishes/scratches in this area, or are they reflections and my confirmation bias thinks they are scratches?

Re: The Hyundai Venue N Line & Facelift. EDIT: 2022 Venue facelift launched at Rs. 7.53 lakh

An incremental upgrade: Nip and tuck and SX(O) gets the DCT unlike the old only SX getting the DCT. Still no Diesel Auto and looks like Hyundai is holding back while Kia is offering goodies and automatic in Diesel variant with same power as Seltos/Creta/Carens/Alcazar at 115bhp /25 kgm form. Exterior looks "different", but not as appealing as the Sonet though. Me thinks Hyundai Kia needs to increase the power output of the diesel engines in the interest of pulling power with a full load; having the same power in Sonet automatic as bigger Creta/Seltos and even bigger 7/6 seater versions of the Carens/Alcazar doesn't make sense, may they just need to make it "twin" turbo in the interest of keeping the engine volume under 1.5 litres for the tax benefit. Why not make the diesel a twin turbo: would be a segment first and you can go to town with it for at least a few months before others start to play catching up and Hyundai/Kia can charge a hefty premium for it people would be ready to pay.

No auto transmission in diesel and no ventilated seats offered on the top models. Weird strategy from Hyundai when it's sister company is offering them on a Sonet.

I noticed this too. What could be the reason? Changed suspension setup? Tyre sizes are same.
