My experience was entirely different .

Visited nearby Hyundai showroom today to test drive Venue, as per the SA they have no information about Venue facelift or Venue N line launching next month. As per him, they usually have some clarity on launch at least a month before the official date however it's not the case at this point in time. He also confirmed they are not taking any new booking for automatic models officially or otherwise.

Re: 4th-Gen Hyundai Tucson spotted testing in India

Looks like the Venue facelift is now official in India. A teaser video is out. It's possible the Tucson and Venue might both be introduced together, or at a close gap.

Hyundai Venue facelift India launch on June 16

The Hyundai Venue has been given a makeover. The company has confirmed that the Venue facelift will be launched in India on June 16, 2022.

The 2022 Venue gets a revised radiator grille with chrome inserts and a rectangular air dam with a skid plate. The car retains the split headlamp setup, albeit with minor modifications.

At the rear, the updated Venue gets new L-shaped LED tail lights with a light bar that stretches across the width of the car. The rear bumper has also been redesigned and incorporates a black insert with position lamps on either side. The crossover is expected to get a sunroof and dual-tone alloy wheels.

The updated Venue is likely to be offered with the same engine options as the current model. These include a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that makes 99 BHP and 240 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The Venue facelift will compete with the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and the upcoming Maruti Brezza.

I must say that I will be surprised if Hyundai don't offer the 1.5D AT on the Venue. If sister Sonet has that engine gearbox combo then why wouldn't Hyundai not offer it on the Venue!

More importantly this will also give some option for those looking for Diesel TC automatics and help to reduce the monopoly of the Sonet. The wait time of Sonet D AT are crazy!!

I spoke to two dealerships here in Goa & none of them any idea about this. Supposedly they have the product training in this week. Maybe then we can expect some info.

Thats one ugly looking car in my personal opinion. The rear seems good but the front is just not cutting it - overstyled and not in sync with the relatively small proportions of the vehicle.

Hyundai used to be known for their fantastic designs once upon a time with their fluidic design themes. Gone are those days I am afraid. The current Creta, Alcazar and now this are examples.

The rear "audio cassette" light-bar reminds me of the Taigun, but Hyundai did an amazing job of implementing it . It's more proportional and well integrated in the Venue facelift.

This new taillight treatment looks neat

With aggressive broad grill reflecting Hyundai's new global design language, the car looks different from earlier version. I hear new Verna is also getting ready for its launch.

I highly hope they offer 6 speed Diesel AT this time which its cousin Sonet offers (and is minting money for Kia).

Hyundai definitely is the master of stealing the limelight . I couldn't resist thinking of movie 3 idiot's below dialog while seeing how Hyundai executes things.

peace

Hoping that the front grill is not all chrome. Gun metal could be quite a killer (pun intended) with the correct body shades.

I think Hyundai (and Kia too) should also redesign their logo. The italic H distracts me midway as I count those blocks

re: The Hyundai Venue N Line & Facelift. EDIT: 2022 Venue facelift launched at Rs. 7.53 lakh

I used to hate the current Venue design which is very bland and boxy. But Hyundai has managed to make it even more ugly. That huge chrome grill is a strict NO for me. It looks like someone would go to a car accessories shop and make the whole grill chrome. If I end up buying the new Venue, I will paint the grid black or at least wrap it black.

The rear looks good though (very Taigunish).

I think they should add all variants for petrol engine including a proper top end variant. There is a demand for petrol manual in India.

I'm actually "okay" with the current design, I don't like the grill, and tail is decent enough. But this new design is giving one hell of a competition to Creta, not in a good way.

Current Hyundai cars are so polarizing, I never heard someone saying old Creta as ugly, but not the case with new one.

Is there any update about the new Venue having ventilated front seats?
And is the back seat legroom and space same as the Sonet?

Maybe or may not be. Feature addition may or may not happen with an update. I guess Hyundai will offer one on top spec Venue just to be in line with the trend.

I don't see any changes in this regard, since it's the same car with few cosmetic changes. Backseat experience will be same as current car.
