According to Porsche India, while the first half of last year was difficult due to the pandemic, sales picked up immensely in the second half. The period between July and December saw Porsche record sales of 301 units, helping them achieve the sales record. The Macan continued to be the brand's best-selling model in India. Re: Porsche India registers 62% growth with 474 units in 2021

Indian Automotive sector seems to have really taken off post covid with most luxury manufacturers selling record numbers.

Hoping for local manufacturing/assembly soon so these models can more affordable.

Not only will it expand user base, it will also help create local jobs and companies will have better sales.

Win Win for everyone.

Almost 500 cars a year is pretty good for Porsche, although I think the brand has far more potential if they introduce more realistic pricing, assemble the best selling models here (excess capacity available at VW-Group plants), bring the right variants and offer quicker deliveries across the board.

Porsche is one of the rare sports car brands with models that are actually useable on a daily basis. And the Macan, boy oh boy! What a crossover. Drives amazingly well, just like a Porsche should.

Shows that the millionaires & billionaires of India value practicality above all else, even when it comes to cars.

Completely agree, Practicality above all.

They are trying really hard, and am happy that they are bringing in many more variants and are reaching out to potential cutomers like the experience drive in Coimbatore in October 2022.

Porsche Chennai is organizing the experience drive at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore from October 6th -21st,and they are getting 9 of
their best cars on the tracks to experience it.

IMO this is the best way to draw the target audience towards your products,
Nothing like to experience it and that too in the perfect setup.
