BMW has launched the X3 LCI in two variants SportX Plus and MSport 30i petrol, no diesel for now.

Really pricey and it is a let down that even the M-Sport does not get real leather seats (Only Sensatec). Also the SportX retailing at 75 lakhs on-road does not get adaptive suspension. BMW is systematically stripping out features which were very common in this segment. It is a mystery why they offered Diesel in their recent sedan launches, but not in an important SUV launch.

BMW has launched the X3 at 59.9L for the Sport X trim and 65.90L for the m-sport trim. Prices are lower than what the dealer was expecting it to be at. The sport x trim compares favourably with the Q5 premium plus in pricing.

If this is launched. I will be 1st in the line to buy it.

Lets go BMW. Lets consider this sooner than later.

The x3 M sport versions are slowly going into previous f15 x5 generation pricing. Expect LCI G series x5s to launch at 1.20 crs now. And why now are BMW not providing the 30d? It was such a blast. If it’s already there in the x4 it’s quite an easy task to just put it in the x3. Heck the same engine and transmission can even go into a 3 series. The new mantra seems to be cutting down on features, raise prices often and almost nil customisation for these high end cars.

Performance is brisk with 0-100kph taking just 6.6secs, but it isn’t about outright performance on a car like the X3.

Power delivery is linear and there is more than sufficient grunt for quick overtakes on the highway.

For those who spend more time behind the wheel than in the back seat, want an SUV that drives well, but also want all the modern luxury features, the facelifted X3 is just about perfect.
