Dont believe any change is made to suspension. The approach, breakover and departure angles are same as pre-facelift Trailhawk along with no changes ti water wading.

The Trailhawk variant of Compass receives cosmetic as well as functional upgrades over the standard model. Regular Compass is priced from Rs 17.8 lakh to Rs 29.34 lakh, ex-showroom.

Not sure if my mind prefers new, shiny things but the Trailhawk looks a lot "prettier" than the regular Compass - which is on the bulkier/macho side. However, that contrasting red "Trailhawk" decal on front looks so tacky and cheap. The interiors seem to be really elevated by that contrasting red stitching throughout and the lighter colour roof liner.

I really do hope that apart from the minor outside and interior facelift that the build quality is more solid than the regular compass (i.e., no more rattling issues). Any info on the colour options?

Apart from the first picture, not sure if the rest are the from Indian version. The one launched in India does not get front tow hooks so probably this exact model will not be available here.

Think this is a good price. The 2019 Trailhawks were launched at a much higher premium over the Limited Plus models. Later Jeep had to sell them at INR 3-4 lakh discounts. This time, they are a lot more pragmatic with the price. I would any day buy the Trailhawk over the standard Compass S- just for the better ride and tires itself

They are not available due to pedestrian safety norms.

I used to be really enthused about the Trailhawk and even contemplated it a couple of years ago. But after seeing a few videos of it pitted against the bigger boys like Fortuner, Isuzu V Cross, Thar and (old) Safari, I would reserve my opinion about its "Trail" capabilities. It seems to be a half way option between an urban soft-roader and a proper off-roader.

As far as I know, the Trailhawk was never positioned as a hard core off-roader, competing with the likes of Fortuner etc. which can never be the case anyways, as it is an apple to orange comparison. Its positioning is exactly what you said - somewhere between an urban crossover and a proper off-roader

Let's start the price/sq.ft debate, shall we?

I still think at 40L on-road, it's a decent cross-over. I've read it's excellent highway manners and also it's ability to take over most of the bad roads in India. As a monocoque, I wouldn't expect this to have the freedom to roam like a ladder-on-frame true blood SUV anyway.
