Jeep Compass Trailhawk facelift launch expected in February 2022

How your over confidence can KILL your company in a good market like India. Fiat then and now Jeep. Around 38 lakhs for a vehicle that costs less than half overseas is not just insane but stupid. This is close to Fortuner pricing range which itself is in another segment above. If anyone wants a Compass, just go for the 2nd hand route as the pre-facelift makes so much sense. Only issue is that the Diesel Auto is again given stupid pricing which is not all worth for of this size that too as a 5 seater. Jeep, good luck with Meridian! This is going to be around 45 lakhs, for elongated Compass which seats 7? Jeep should learn from Mahindra a thing or two when it comes to pricing strategy. Why would anyone with their right mind set will pay 20 lakhs more for such a small 7 seater when they can get a solid XUV 700? Only Jeep knows. If they think they have the snob value, then they are wrong completely, for a conservative market like India.

Hmm. The tail lamps definitely look different. the 2021 Facelift doesn't have these ones im pretty sure.

Compass at 40L INR and Creta, Seltos etc at 30L INR soon. Thats where we are headed !

I would rather go and buy a Harrier/Safari (same engine as compass) and a Thar/Gurkha with that money rather than a Compass Trailhawk/ S , or maybe a Base Thar and a used MINI Cooper Convertible for my itch to own one someday. Utterly stupid pricing. Jeep doesn't have bragging rights like Mustang or the discontinued Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X that people will pay anything. Who buys an Audi when you get the same car at half the price (Skoda)?

As per information from the dealerships the Trailhawk would be launched in February itself. Bumpers, alloys, bonnet decal and rock mode would be the difference as per them. Price would be slightly more than Model S. Definitely not close to 40.

Will it only be in Diesel or Petrol will be offered as well? If you may know..

Trailhawk is diesel only.
And water wading depth to be 19”, forgot to mention in the last post.

Do we know the stock tyre size? Is it R17 or R18? Regular compass doesn't have any option for AT tyres without alloy change.

Is there anything substantially different in the car compared to the normal Compass that makes it well built for these extreme temperatures?

Pre-Facelift and Post-Facelift TH have 225/65/R17 Falken Wildpeak HT tyres. Although HT they are also qualify for 'All Season' rating in foreign markets. In the stock size, I am running my Trailhawk with GoodYear Wrangler Silent Trac AT tyres.

Not for the temperatures specifically, but definitely more off-road focused with under body skid plates, higher air intake, heavy duty rims, higher ground clearance and better Approach, Breakeven and Departure angles.

Surprisingly no change in the hardware specs. The pre-facelift Trailhawk owners (including myself) demanded a high Ground Clearance, AT tyres, high water wading capability and room for mild upgrades (similar to Jeep Wranglers)
