Re: BMW 220i Black Shadow edition launched at Rs. 43.50 lakh

I guess this is one way to clear some stock on accessories. My dealer threw in the black kidney grill for free (on a 330i). The rear spoiler and OVRM are absolutely a waste for their cost. The rims look wonderful but not a 3L premium wonderful.

I barely ever see the 2 GC on the road in Bombay ever. I find them quite hideous albeit they look better in person than in pictures and go against the BMW ethos with a FWD car that is also underpowered. You're paying for the badge and nothing else. Would rather get an Octavia instead.

Re: BMW 220i Black Shadow edition launched at Rs. 43.50 lakh

Well said, rbp25! This is a 29-lakh car masquerading as a 50-lakh car (on-the-road). Brain dead pricing, at best, I would pay 32-lakhs OTR for a car like this. Cars from the mainstream brands in the 20 - 35 lakh range have gotten so darn good that it makes such overpriced models from the luxury badges feel foolish & irrelevant.

Am glad it's flopped. Should teach BMW a lesson.
