Re: Why is the VW Polo unavailable? Is a big update coming?

Folks who have received 2022 manufactured car, it would be great to hear:
  1. if the 'aggressive creep function' (on AT) has been tweaked
  2. any improvement in terms of the engine vibrations at low speeds
  3. Any improvement on the slight lag at low speeds

Deal sounds good, I believe they had increased the prices few months back and considering that it's fair.

The showroom from where I purchased the car, they were asking 10k for the camera. And yes, as Gannu_1 asked, can you share the output, if it's good then I might also get it installed

Thank you. Before fitting the dealer had confirmed that this is a third party camera approved by VW with a years warranty. Initial cost was 10k but was finally settled at 8k.

Quality of the pic is acceptable.
Dynamic lines are present but don’t work as intended to. The camera is fitted just above the number plate, and has the option of adjusting screen brightness/contrast/Color gamut.

Looks better than the one shown to me, from which dealer did you get it?

Hi Guna,

1. The aggressive creep function is still present in 2022 model. But after idling for 30 seconds the engine RPM drops below 1k, which makes the aggressive creep function disappear.

2. No improvements on NVH at all. There is still vibration at idle and also post 120kmph.

3. Lag is still there below 1700 RPM. Above that there is no lag.

I test drive a Polo GT 1.0 yesterday and this is after extensively driving the GT 1.2 in previous years. NVH was so much better on the 1.2.

I did not find the creep function too aggressive though. VW Bangalore North is committing delivery within 3 - 4 months.

The car was booked at VW Delhi but they also own the VW Ghaziabad at Arya Nagar.

The payment and installation was done at Ghaziabad as it is closer to my house.

https://www.autocarindia.com/car-new...agvvP4mp89luXI

The Autocar article says they are pulling the plug and not planning to bring in the replacement model. Article also says they will concentrate on Taigun and Virtus in India. I inquired for polo in Nov 2021 and the SA was kind of pushing me to take a look at Taigun instead.
