MG Hector, Hector Plus & Gloster prices hiked by up to Rs. 50,000

MG has hiked the prices of the Hector, Hector Plus and Gloster by up to Rs. 50,000. The announcement comes just days following the launch of the Astor.

The prices for the Smart and Sharp trims of the Hector have been raised by Rs. 8,000, while the dual-tone Sharp variant now costs Rs. 50,000 more.

The Smart and Sharp variants of the Hector Plus get a price hike of up to Rs. 15,000. However, the prices of the dual-tone variants have been increased by up to Rs. 42,000.

MG has also increased the prices of the Smart, Sharp and Savvy variants of the Gloster by Rs. 40,000.

The carmaker has hiked the prices for the third time this year. MG had raised the prices of the Hector and Hector Plus by up to Rs. 43,000 back in April. A month later, Gloster prices were increased by up to Rs. 80,000.

This could be them also increasing the gap between Astor and Hector.

In fact the prices were increased fairly recently in September 21 as well, this time though they have increased the prices significantly, probably as mentioned above could be due to the Astor recent price reveal.
