Re: Tata Harrier Camo Edition discontinued

So this is the 6th colour of the Harrier that TATA has discontinued during its lifespan. And it wasn't exactly an unpopular one.

Having been in this situation before any customers that are currently waiting for a booked Harrier in this colour will be told that it is not an option anymore and be booted to the back of the line with a new booking. That's what happened to me last year.

I love the Harrier but it could do with better and more colour options. The current range is just too limited.

Re: Tata Harrier Camo Edition discontinued

Ah the 'senior management' at Tata is back at work I see!! They usually have nothing to contribute, understand nothing except ROI and hence will keep fingering and tinkering with a working plan to usually make it worse

This color dropping drama is not new. I remember when the Storme was launched it came in 5 shades, the white, the gray, silver, a beautiful maroon and an attractive shade of moondust gold. The very next year they launched a brown shade and promptly dropped the moondust and maroon saying that people are not buying. People who has booked those shades were told to either change their color taste or change their brand! Similar story with the Hexa when they wanted to force their gaudy looking dual tone on people who wanted subtle single tone paint. These people never learn.

Re: Tata Harrier Camo Edition discontinued

The issue is not the camo green colour. It is the lack of bling bling chrome that Indians love to have in a car. Had Tata introduced a lot of SS304 pieces it would have got sold. I predict the same result for Dark editions.
