I'm dumbfounded by our dumb babus!!

We sold our used WagonR in 2017 for new SCross. At that point, RC was mint.

Today I stumbled on the same WagonR listed for sale at IndianAuto website

Out of curiosity wanted to find who owned the vehicle now & guess what happened?

Like I said before, our babus are not good even with a simply copy paste job!!

The mail is forwarded to the NEXA dealership and the Quality Manager acknowledges the issue and holds the RTO responsible for the error. Who will correct it and when? No answers.

It is bloopers galore at our RTOs. Guess what happened when I got the FC for my Esteem in 2018 ! The date of registration is given as 09/10/2002 whereas the date of manufacture has been printed as July-2003. Actually, my vehicle was registered on 09/10/2003. As per the latest RC my vehicle has been registered even before it was manufactured.

Hi All, I own a Chevrolet Beat LT Diesel registered under PCMC RTO (MH14) which I purchased in 2019 from its first owner. While purchasing the car I did notice that the Fuel type mentioned in the RC was Petrol. I checked with the seller and he said he had already applied to rectify this on the Parivahan portal and paid the fees for the same however he never got time to visit RTO to submit the forms. As we had to initiate the RC transfer, he cancelled that payment receipt and I purchased the car from him.

I checked with one of the RTO agents about this and he told me that it is a tedious task and usually we require a letter from the Dealership and also the copy of the Invoice. (It looked like it was just his way of telling it will cost me good money)

I have never got any issue with the Cops or while getting a PUC certificate. I wish to sell this car now and wanted to know the procedure to get the RC particulars rectified. Could someone please help me with the procedure to change the fuel type on the RC and also let me know how much (approximately) it should cost.

My printed RC has ownership type as "Company" and then it goes on with my Father's name filled in. Company with a father ? Go figure.

As per the agent it was priting error due to the ownership transfer from company (my employer) to me (it was a case of company lease). The ownership type remained as "company" instead of changing to "individual", atleast on the printed paper.

However on the Vahan website there is no such field as ownership type, when I retrieve my digital RC details.
