Well, this one surely looks better than the previous logo. Minimalistic, Futuristic and more tech-ish. I personally love when a logo carries a meaning/vision with it, just like Toyota's or even Hyundai's.

I like how Mahindra has timed its release with the XUV 7OO, a vehicle that company claims will be a disrupter in the Indian automotive scene, when launched.

Excited to see this new age Mahindra, with Pratap Bose heading designs.

Voted "Thumbs Up" for the time being, looks striking and modern at first sight. But at the same time, their old logo had a beautiful meaning to it.

It resembles a road and evokes a sense of speed and movement. It is a reflection of the brand’s forward-thinking and teamwork philosophy.

How good will the logo look on the cars? We'll have to wait and see.

"Neither here nor there" is what I feel looking at the new logo. It's not bad but first look did not inspire any "wow" feeling. For me it does not connect to the rugged and macho stance that Mahindra vehicles have. I hope it would grow over time.

The spacing between the "twin peaks" has made the logo incoherent IMO. I neither like it nor do I hate it, so I haven't voted. I would have found the logo more appealing without the spacing in-between.

I looked at it a few times during the day and couldn't put my finger on why it was so familiar as well as incomplete; finally it dawned, it looks so much like an empty collar (without a tie or bow) -

If this is the best Mr. Bose could do, then he has either fallen prey to the hopeless design culture of M&M or the excellence at Tata drowned out his incompetence!

This new emblem is sharp and edgy - it'll go well with modern designs of XUV700, XUV300 etc.

But it'll look horrible on Thar. It is too pointy to go with the classic jeep front end design. Might resemble some cheap Karol Bagh type aftermarket fitment.

Don’t like the new logo - but their old one was not great either. Compare it to timeless logos like the three pointed star, the propellor, the Ts of Toyota and Tata, or even VW - and it seems bad. But ultimately people don’t care about the logo - they care about the products. And if M&M gives us products like the Thar, people will line up to buy them.

Didn't like the logo. This is a kind of logo which looks good in corporate presentation with the "twin peaks" propaganda. But does not look good in real world. Hope I am proven wrong.

One word for the new logo - Classy.

It seems so pleasing to the eye and very upmarket, especially when compared to the current Mahindra logo. Also, helps differentiate the car from other Mahindra vehicles (Tractors/Trucks), very important for customers paying a premium for XUV7OO.

Mahindra might have pulled a small Nexa-Arena here.

Can't help but think of the old Kawasaki Z800's headlamps.



However, i think it definitely looks better than the current Mahindra logo. It might fit on a XUV700 / 300 etc. But not sure if it does on a Bolero which is more rugged / agricultural.

All the other manufacturers seem to be moving to 2D logos - VW, Renault etc. and Mahindra comes up with a 3D logo now.

I have voted in favor and did not wanted to be -ve but the design is quirky. Maybe we are used to seeing the old logo but their Engineers, especially the Team that is behind designing XUV, should have tried to keep it simplistic. I am sure that there will be lot of meme's that we'll see for this logo.
