I am somehow not convinced, it doesn't seems like the N Line but one never knows also, there's no fixed head rests and rear wash wipe, does this mean the car will be available in a lower trim as well?

I estimate the OTR price around 14 lacs for this. Would it REALLY sell? I suspect this drives down the same road, into distant memory, as the Baleno RS :(

And it looks like there is no rear windshield wiper. It is a shame that companies continue to skip such important safety feature in the cars priced over 10 lakh rupees.

Based on the observations above, it seems that this N-Line is based on the Sportz trim as it misses out on rear wiper and also has fixed headrests.

What is 'N' about this car other than extra plastics, mud flaps and floor mats may be? Laughable.

Fixed head rests are not bad, if executed and functioning well. Even Superb sports line and Octavia VRS have fixed headrests.
Hope the car has something more sportier than visual changes

Okay, so new sporty bumpers, side skirts, a spoiler, new alloys and some mandatory N line badging seem to be the upgrades. It does not look like Hyundai increased the tyre size or lowered the ride height to make it more sporty. Overall it just seems to be some cosmetic updates, if there are any performance changes would like to know about them.

P.S: the functional twin exhaust are a nice touch.

Yes there are most probably going to be two variants on offer; N6 and N8. Since N6 is based on the Sportz trim it may not be getting a rear wash-wipe. N8 is based on the Asta trim.

The car spotted here could be the N6 trim.

I believe what was being meant was fixed rear headrests, Octavia VRs and Superb Sportline have fixed front headrests which are alright but have adjustable rear ones.

The first car from Hyundai’s sporty N brand will be i20 NLine with the 120hp 1-litre turbo engine but dynamics are promised to be better with re-tuned suspension & rear discs. Available with iMT & DCT (now with paddle shifters). Disc brakes all round, tweaked suspension and sportier exhaust note will also be some of the highlights.

Here’s what the i20 N Line looks like with new bumpers, red accents, new 16-inch wheels, twin tip exhausts & subtle spoiler.









On the inside i20 N Line gets N branding all over & new steering wheel.









No change in the power train with the 120hp 1-litre turbo petrol engine. DCT gets paddle shifters. Claimed 0-100kmph time of 9.9s





i20 N Line steering is returned for more weight and there’s 30% more damping for better dynamics. Also it now gets disc brakes on the rear
iMT also gets ESP.





i20 N Line will only be sold through Hyundai Signature outlets that have 188 outlets over 97 cities.
