It looks like a man sitting on a recliner and reading news paper.
These days coming up with a design that raises eyebrows (polarise) is considered a good thing. Will get more people to talk about the brand and take notice. The loyal guys never leave the brand based on logo talk. You get the mind share of new guys because everyone is talking about it. You can see this pattern a lot more often these days - and I suspect it is done so intentionally.
Nope. Nope. Nope. That’s a step in the wrong direction. Should have rather tried tweaking the existing one?

Hope Tata doesn’t get any ideas looking at this.
:) Am i the only one who actually like this logo? Never liked their 3 rays/road logo that much.

They can do much much better! This feels more of a resort company logo than a automotive brand. Just felt like a person relaxing on a chair!
Did not like it at all - is the first impression.
Somehow this new logo is not resembling the dynamics of a car in motion. It looks upright and static - stationary will be the correct word.
Looks like it will take M&M to Honda way , rather than Hyundai way. Pun intended.

Reminds me big of "Transformer". I guess last time they redesigned the logo with the 'Rise' theme. This time the theme is 'Transform'? :D

Whatever happened to the good design agencies and better taste of clients. This seems so uninspiring and disconnected. Looks like a combination of Maruthi, Maybach, and Transformers. :thumbsdown
Too many lines going in too many directions. This is one very confusing logo. Even the letter M is not connected from starting point till the ending point. Or is it hinting towards the Electric future?
Hope this is not the one.
This one makes the existing one look visionary & profound with ‘the long winding roads till the distant point where it seems like merging into one & makes an M out of it’ look.
Why don’t people like the old Maruti Udyog logo ? I used to love it as a child. It appeared to me as an optical illusion of an open book with the confusion whether both the pages were opening towards me or away from me.

I actually like the current Mahindra logo. Even if it looks like a squeezed Pacman with its tongue hanging out, but it has a meaning.
What I do not like is this new logo as well as the new Kia logo.
Also, coming to the Maruti logo, are you telling me that it's not a butterfly? :Shockked:

Also, we are not sure if this logo is the final one and it might receive some more changes before release.
Did a little bit of searching on the internet about this new logo and I found this, a bunch of M logos designed by a freelance logo designer by the name of Kakha Kakhadzen. Was his logo chosen by Mahindra or is it really the new Mahindra logo?
