Tickets should be available online. Last time they were available on BookMyShow. I suggest you order well in advance and choose home delivery. In 2020, if home delivery was not opted, visitor was required to go to BookMyShow counter far away (behind expo mart, near parking) and wait in queue to get physical entry pass.
In post-pandemic online era, I hope, they issue online passes. Quote:

Going by the past editions of AutoExpo, in the upcoming edition : 11th & 12th Jan : Media / Special Invitee only day. Only pre-issued passes, no tickets for public. 13th Jan : 'Business only' entry. This means only adults allowed (above 18 years), higher ticket prices (Rs. 750 in 2020) and lesser crowd. 14th Jan to 18th Jan : Open to everyone, including kids and lower prices (Rs. 350~475 in 2020).
