I think the dealer just wanted to create some hype or something as we would've already seen some leaks or information about it as a vehicle launch requires nearly 3 years of development.

Re: Renault to end Duster production soon, might bring in new model

I was also told by the SA here in Pune that Renault was going to launch the 7 seater Duster by mid-2022. I was there to test drive the Triber.

I looked up on various web sites and found that the Jogger was launched by Renault in September 2021 but it is unlikely to reach Indian markets anytime soon.

Re: Renault to end Duster production soon, might bring in new model

Renault's vehicle line-up now has just one engine to bank upon. The 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol in its NA, Turbo and downsized 0.8L avatar. No hybrids in sight. No electric launches.

I doubt they will launch the 3rd gen Duster, although if they did, it would upset the hottest segment in the industry at the moment.
