I'm not too sure on the OPF/GPF part, but having driven and heard the LCI F90, I can confirm it sounds pretty much the same as the pre lci, and even has the burbles.

Really? Cause I was able to confirm that we get the European version with the OPF, here in India, and the videos online of the Euro spec M5C LCI has no more pops and bangs. It sounds substantially subdued compared to the pre-facelift.

Honestly, I'm not too sure on the specific details, but I drove an Indian spec car in Mumbai, and it sounds the same as the pre lci.

In Europe, the new face lift version sounds dead because of the emission norms. They now come with the Otto Particulate Filter/Gasoline Particulate Filter, which pretty much kills the sound.

We always get EU spec, reconfirmed today

So there should be no change in the sound as compared with Pre-Lci. We get sports exhaust as standard due to competition pack; it sounds Ok to me. You can always order an Akra exhaust.
