All cars in Tata's portfolio now have exactly 5 colours on offer, looks like they deleted colours just to have 5 colours (even-though different) for all their cars!

How's that for symmetry? On another note, I really hope they introduce better colour options for the Safari. It is their flagship, yet it practically gets only 4 colour options. The Royal Blue looks much better in photos than on the floor, White is too basic for a car costing north of 20 Lakh. I feel that Gray looks the best in combination with chrome but it might be dull for many.

Even the Altroz would look real sharp in an all blacked-out avatar.

5 different colors spread across the stable and not one of them is black. Apart from luxury cars, I rarely see black cars on the road now.

On a lighter note, In addition to 5 colours, there is also another color that usually Tata cars show up during delivery. Its called TRUE colour. I wish all these Tata cars(which ever colour) do not show up their true colour during or after delivery.

The founders editions still exist right? Those should qualify as a 6th colour. Technically they are not open to purchase by the public, but hey, for a lot of car buying folks, if you throw a stone among your friends group, odds are that you will hit a TCS/ Tata group employee

I really don't understand why they took out the "Tectonic Blue" from Nexon. Anyone has information on this? It was very good and sales numbers were good too. That's what I was told by the dealer. I was lucky to get that color. While I was eagerly waiting for the delivery in 10-15 days, I was told blue is getting discontinued and I will not get one. I had to escalate it to the highest level and somehow got it.

Whether there will be any impact in future because of the color discontinuation?

Nexon EV getting an all Black Edition similar to Harrier’s #Dark edition. Even the interior colour will be changed to black.

In its quest to increase the popularity of its all-electric compact SUV, we are told that Tata Motors is readying a ‘Dark Edition’ of the Nexon EV to appeal to a younger set of buyers. This special edition will feature the same Atlas Black paint shade as the Harrier, blackened wheels, and smoked tail lamps for that desired murdered look. On the inside too, the light beige interiors are likely to be replaced by black seats, door pads and dashboard. This variant could feature ‘#DARK’ badges similar to the ones in the Harrier. It will be interesting to see whether or not Tata incorporates the signature blue highlights which are exclusive to the Nexon EV.

Tata Motors has discontinued the Pure Silver exterior colour for the Nexon and Tiago. The colour scheme isn't listed anymore on the company's website.
