Front 3/4th view is giving me Venue vibes. The initial excitement which I had seeing the teaser is not there now unfortunately. Maybe it could look good in dark shades, need to wait and see. I am in the market for my Venue replacement, I was eyeing big time on Creta. Now only time will tell if I will get this.

That thick connected tail light looks bad design wise in the initial pictures but maybe it will look better later. Similarity with Venue is to be expected, after all it is supposed to be a baby Creta.

I wanted them to do away with that thick C pillar, looks odd in current Creta but they retained it.

The whole bumper treatment on that car makes it look like the cheap Hot Wheels knock-offs I bought as a kid at small town fairs by the dozen, whose paint would peel off with a fingernail.

The existing car is ugly too, but at least has relatively clean lines. This one is crease and wrinkle central, like it was left in a washing machine too long afterwards.

The OG Creta was superb! The current one was okayish in my opinion, but this just ruined the Creta for me! This is just uglyyyyyy!!!

Someone needs to check up on Hyundai's design team!

I was thinking along the exact same lines!

The kind of changes Hyundai brought, both on interior and exterior, are generally not tackled in a facelift. It could be a possibility that while all of us were speculating it being a faceflit, Hyundai silently did a generation change and this actually is Gen 3 creta?

That said, it will continue to sell. The suspension will be better than Seltos and sales wise it will not have any challenges.

The rear looks oddly mishaped and ugly to be honest. Surprisingly non premium design.

Is that a single reversing lamp ? Don't see any other cutouts for reverse lamps. So no fog lamps and single reversing lamp. How much is Hyundai really saving by such petty cost cutting?

Yes. And sadly this is yet another stupid cost cutting measure that will be followed by other manufacturers.

The recent Sonet FL too comes with a single reversing lamp in the centre of the bumper.

After all the initial SRK hype, now these pics look like Hyundai has gone from Tucson towards venue (a downgrade)

I rather take this car out only in dark as the LED treatments look awesome but the car in daylight is just "meh".

I never thought I would call the current Creta good looking, but looking at this facelift I have to change my words. The designers at Hyundai really seem bent on testing the limits of the weirdest looks consumers will accept.
