will be offered in six paint schemes namely Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Brave Khaki, Opulent Red and Celestial Blue. The updated MPV also gets dual-tone colour options with a black roof in red, silver and Khaki shades. However, dual-tone colour options in the new XL6 will only be limited to the top-spec trim.

Definitely looks Macho from the front (Looks are subjective). Lack of complete coverage through 6 airbags is a downer considering Carens is already leading in the same.

14.55 for the top end is going to put it around 16L here in Pune. Also I think Alpha plus is only introducing dual tone colors and nothing else.

No details regarding the Engine output and sound system (Arkamys).

If someone can get hold of an official brochure, please do share.

This is a 1.80 Lakhs bump up in price!

The event just disappointment. No proper camera angles, very little information.
Did they mention anything about tyre size?

Manual seems good value for money, AT seems to be a bit expensive and dangerously close to the bigger cars.

This hike is more inline with the prices from competition rather than the VFM perspective w.r.t the features.

However looking at these prices, at least the manual version of the Carens 1.5 NA petrol would attract more customers considering its VFM proposition as compared to the XL6.

As for the automatic version, More customers from Carens who only drive ATs should be moved to XL6 considering most driving would be in the city with occasional highway drives.

The price bump feels more like a new generation launch.

The launch event was underwhelming. No connect between the product and the frames. The car also feels like a simple evolution than a new launch. The prices have sky rocketed though !

Will the Alpha plus AT variant touch 18 lacs in Bangalore?

MSIL could not achieve what Shashi Ji has achieved in his XL6 even with such a price hike. Auto Dimming IRVM

In Bangalore Alpha+ Dual MT will be around 17 lakhs on road while AT will be just below 19 Lakhs. Thats a whooping amount TBH !!!
