2022 Maruti Ertiga & XL6, now launched

Considering that Maruti (also) uses same engine + transmission in multiple models, will the S-Cross get this upgraded 1.5L engine and the 6 speed TC AT ? The S-Cross needs a better spec than it currently has, and I hope they upgrade the S-Cross facelift to this combination.

Suzuki has launched XL7 Alpha FF in Indonesia. It's a limited edition variant with 7 seater configuration and a host of changes inside out. Only 150 are supposed to be made. I wish Maruti brings this to India.

For Carens D1.5 AT, the booking docket mentioned 20-21 weeks for booking done on Mar 13th. After price hike, I still see it's the same tentative waiting period.

For XL6 online booking, I received call from SA asking PAN and aadhaar details. Looking forward to XL6 launch and test drive to make a decision.

I am also getting the same 20-21 weeks waiting period on Carens for 1.5D AT. I have the need for a 6/7 seater AT for long distance travel alone and if XL6 or Ertiga comes with 6 airbags, then Carens will be off and replaced with XL6 or Ertiga. Booked both and waiting for the launch

Definitely Alpha trim feature, Zeta might come with a reverse camera now and 360 in Alpha.

Just booked the Alpha AT with Nexa, Thrissur. If the vehicle gets launched on 21st, I will have a chance to see it while I am in Kerala on my 10 day visit. Might test drive the current XL6, although not sure what I can learn from the driving dynamics given the changes in the new XL6.

More details of the upcoming MPV, before its reveal on 15th April:

The Ertiga will get a total of 11 variants, including the fleet-only petrol and CNG-powered Tour M variants.

Like before, the MPV for private buyers will come with four trim levels - LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+.

Maruti Suzuki is offering CNG in the VXi and ZXi trims, making it the first time for any Maruti to get CNG in the ZXi variant.

The automatic version is reserved for the VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ trims.

Suzuki Connect is I believe another way of money making for them, almost all those features you get it the GoMechanic OBD based tracker, it costed me 1500 only

Almost 80-85% less than what MSIL is asking.

Interestingly, I received calls from 2 different showrooms and both of them gave me different information. One said THERE WONT BE 6 SEATER VERSION ATALL

ONLY 7 SEATER WILL BE ON OFFER.

And the other said exactly opposite.

But I believe though 7 seater option would be a great option, its less likely to happen.
