I for one am really looking forward to seeing if it gets Adaptive Cruise Control. In cities where line driving is adhered to, it could be a really useful feature to have. Will certainly be useful on highways, especially the new expressways.

Radar is located in the lower grille area and not the logo area. Designing a logo to conceal a radar is another challenge so manufacturers who use ADAS from third party suppliers would not go with this approach and rather just have it exposed in the grill. But I am curious to see how this mounting position would work out in Indian conditions. I would have preferred a higher position in the upper grill rather than lower grill.

Pretty much all the official videos launched are of exterior features, except the air filter one, which anyway does not give out anything. I presume 14th will be just the external body reveal, with interiors reserved for another day launch, 2nd October perhaps. The media drive would probably also be the same where they would be gagged to speak anything about interiors.

Then price reveal after a month, and then deliveries start two months after that, probably Late Jan 2022 or early Feb 2022. This new trend is extremely irritating.

The Autocar article doesn't have any information on when the bookings will open, but their tweet said it will open on the same day.

If you look at the images, the C pillar area and the rear fender area, haven't undergone any change and just that one place from the side profile takes away the freshness of the car. It is simply a XUV 500 looks, no escape from there.

Yes. I had seen it too. They seem to have edited the article within few minutes of publishing.

Guess they are going ahead with the reveal to keep us interested, while they sort out their problems.
