On a similar note - A friend working for Chevrolet mentioned of factory seconds (registered temporarily on Chevrolet's name) are auctioned off. They sell about 6 cars per quarter, and currently 3 are left for now..
Price quoted is 6-8L which needs to be bought on auction. Cars are 2010 or early 2011 manufactured. The car in question is a Chevrolet Cruze with about 9-10000 Kms on the odo.
It comes with company warranty/ insurance / even an option of taking a loan!
Edit: The place of auction / car's location is unknown - but was told I need to take prior permission to even enter the yard to checkout the cars.
Is it worth risking to go ahead for a car of this type? Please clarify.
Thanks,
Ananth
