Any generation of the Porsche 911 would do, although would prefer a 997.1 Carrera S. A 993 Carrera S would be ideal though.

If this does not materialize for me in the next 5-7 years, for reasons beyond my control, I would hope that the alternative would be a BMW straight six. I'm looking at you M340i.

P.S. I will never own an electric vehicle. I would much rather take public transport. Unless I have absolutely no option, then I would consider resto-modding an old car with an EV drivetrain.

I'm currently under 18, so I will be speaking about our choice of family car only.

Our 2021 Skoda Superb L&K is probably going to be the last ICE car we own, since we keep our cars very long and the market will have changed drastically by the time we consider another (a 2006 Fiesta is still in our garage). I don't really have a problem with this, since I will be able to purchase ICE cars after I come of age, and I fell the Superb will age very gracefully. The 2.0 TSI with the lightning-quick DSG is certainly a going out on a high note according to me (especially considering the mindblowing performance yet the ability to transform into a slow sipper when needed: the beauty of the B-Cycle).

I really do hope this becomes a common reality, like all those dystopian future movies where they have classic cars restored-modded with EV drivetrains. Now that's a world I'd want to live in. For those interested watch the movie 'In Time'.

On topic, I just purchased a Porsche Cayenne which I will use for at least the next 10 years, so I think that's the one.
