Tata has released a video teasing a limited edition of the Tiago. The car is expected to be unveiled on Jan 30, 2021.

It is unclear what the limited edition will offer as the Tiago in the teaser video titled - "Adventures Filled With Unlimited Fun", looks like the regular car.

The Tiago Limited Edition will most likely be powered by the same BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 85 BHP and 113 Nm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

In August 2020, a turbocharged version of the Tiago was spotted testing, and in September 2020, a Soccer Edition of the hatchback was seen at a dealership.

Turbo petrol so soon? That too immediately after the Altroz Turbo has been launched? I don't think so, especially since we have not spotted many test mules yet.

I think a special edition ala Maruti is what would get launched tomorrow.

Maybe they are launching a variant with iTurbo from Altroz as engine has been one of the most criticised aspect of Tiago/Tigor. Not sure just thinking out loud

It might be the NRG Edition since the video had a mention of the word "Adventures". A Turbo is highly unlikely IMO because it'll be the same 3 Pot Turbo Petrol and it'll undercut the Altroz as it has the same engine + TA65 gearbox.

On the other note, the soccer edition spotted in Sept was just a decal job which is available from quite a while with Tata Dealerships, i guess since the BS4 days. It just wasn't advertised well like most Tata Products to create a hype and also the fact that it looked quite appealing with the BS6's yellow paint job that it caught the attention of media so much.

Quite a bold statement to make. I'm afraid it is going to be just another regular Tiago with new paint/decals which in their opinion will be contributing to unlimited fun.

IMO, that is how a limited edition should be. It'll undercut the Altroz but if it is produced in limited numbers, not everyone can have it, making it more exclusive and wouldn't eat much into the Altroz's numbers.

IMO, that is how a limited edition should be. It'll undercut the Altroz but if it is produced in limited numbers, not everyone can have it, making it more exclusive and wouldn't eat much into the Altroz's numbers.

It's neither NRG nor Tiago Turbo. It's just a limited edition Tiago with some additional goodies.

Considering there is no cladding around the lower edge below doors - I wonder if it really would be NRG. Probably not.

Considering the last 2 years' trend - I'd be braced for some feature deletions from tomorrow.
