Tata Tiago Limited Edition has been launched at Rs 5.79 lakh. This limited-run model costs Rs 29,000 more than the XT trim on which it is based, but gets addition features and new alloy wheels.

I guess this is the old 14 inch alloy painted black. The 14 inch alloy seemed apt for tiago's size. 15 inch alloys not only offers a stiffer ride, but also makes it expensive to buy the tyres. A guy buying a car in this segment wouldn't want to spend 5k on a new tyre. Also, they shouldn't have removed the projector setup in the 2020 facelift. I expected that they would bring it back in this limited edition. But no, infotainment features sell better. They are probably right in the business front.

re: Limited Edition Tata Tiago, now launched at Rs 5.79 lakh

Now this is some crafty thinking from TML.
- Bung in the old Tiago alloys (in the 1st gen cars the alloys were painted silver)

- The music system screen seems to be the same size as the 1st gen Tiago's Only a colour screen instead of the old monochrome. The physical buttons on the side look identical to the launch version Tiago's.

- Rear parking sensors is necessitated by homologation. OEM has to put it. No two ways about it. And I'm sure they'll cut back on the number of sensors and put two sensors instead of the four the pre-facelift Tiago had!

- Rear parcel tray inventory was lying by the dozens at vendors ever since the "parcel - tray - delete" thingy came in. Am sure the part vendor would be only too glad to clean his shelves out! (Does it come with the lifting strings? I doubt!)

Overall a shrewd move. Some canny thinking has gone into this marketing spiel.
