I think the urban cruiser was a stop gap measure to help Toyota dealerships generate more revenue. Once the Creta rival is launched the urban cruiser could be slowly discontinued.

Even I had similar thoughts, scross is an excellent car in terms of strong build quality. But its too dated in terms of features. I feel maruti should atleast add,
1. Ventilated seats.
2. 360 degree camera.
To the present line up. I would keep the s cross as a secondary option only if these 2 features are given.
Right now, my secondary option Baleno top end model.

Didn't go for Baleno because am not sure how the build quality is on the new model also my driving will be mostly on highways as better half is from down south. So I would be making 6k kms in a year just by visiting them excluding other travel. So the leaning towards s-cross.

Looks like MS is all set to hit a home run with Brezza this time. HUD, Sunroof, Rear AC Vents,Qi pad and hopefully a 4+ star safety rating. Target customer segment will love it. Great job MS.

Looks like a lot of part sharing with New Wagon R. Why do they have to think too much about part sharing when they are selling 10000 units per model.

Well did anybody notice that brezza doesn't have an front armrest. Looks dull there and definitely a inconvenience for the driver

Doesn't look to have a leather wrapped steering wheel. Either it's not there or variants other than top end will get HUD.

Sunroof - Check,
HUD - Check,
6 Speed Auto with paddle Shifters - Check,
360 Camera - Check.

While the HUD, 6 Speed TC and 360 are segment first, the Maruti CSUV can also flaunt the mild hybrid engine and the "probably upcoming" CNG variant.

MS have gone all guns blazing. But for an diesel engine, I believe there are not many extra features that the Korean twins can boast of.

re: The 2022 Maruti Brezza, now launched at Rs 7.99 lakh

Because of the massive plastic black wheel arches on this facelift, the wheels look a tad undersized vis a vis the previous version.

Maruti has taken parts sharing to the zenith... Door handles, headlight switch, power windows switch.. They haven't changed then since 10 years and are using the same across swift and baleno.

And now the whole AC setup, steering wheel, infotainment system.. Perhaps even the instrument cluster... They are sharing it with Baleno and the Brezza.

Clicking pictures of these one can't tell which car it is in.

I don't think any other manufacturer anywhere in the world does this.

So much for cost cutting

re: The 2022 Maruti Brezza, now launched at Rs 7.99 lakh

No mater how much I zoom, I cannot see the "P" marking on the gear selector . I heard that this has 6 speed torque convertor and not the rabid AMT. Can someone please confirm.
