This has stock clearance written all over it.

Why would someone buy this rather than waiting for the new one when the next gen model is a quantum leap forward as far as technology is concerned.

I like how they didn't even bother to clean up the surrounding before taking a pic (with a phone?). Dead leaves strewn near the car, and not in an artsy fashion.

Front seats with memory package

Didn't offer it as standard on a 1+cr Limo before. And now they started offering it as if they are doing us a favour

So it took them a good 8 years to perfect the current generation and become a 'Maestro' by launching this edition and that too when the new generation has already been launched.

Instead of launching this edition if they continued to sell the existing one at huge discounts of around 30-40 lacs it would have been better.

Re: Mercedes-Benz S-Class Maestro Edition launched at 1.51 crores

Who would've thought memory seats would be the talking point of an S-Class . But it remains a unanimous complaint of existing S-Class owners.

I can see the sense of going for the existing generation over the new one, as many highway champions (including me) would prefer a matured + sorted product over a fresh-gen car with loads of tech & the inevitable niggles. But only at a really good price. I think massive discounts will come when Mercedes needs to clear the last remaining kits (someone on the forum bought a 7-Series for a 50-lakh discount when the new gen arrived).

What's with the funny pattern on the Maestro's bumper? I prefer this:

Didn't the facelift finally come with memory seats? I remember seeing the buttons on the door panel last year.

Not the 2018 Facelift, from our review:

Wasn’t there a S450 Maestro on sale last year as well, still is? So these updates are only on the S350d are they?
