I agree with your opinion on colour choices - could have been better. Quality concerns with 2.0 is a different issue altogether. Hope the VW group has sorted out all the niggles.
Every time I come across a Slavia I stop and take notice. Whether I am strolling or driving. It has presence. I am sure the Virtus will be a showstopper in VW's range.

Absolutely! Slavia is a stunner. The Skoda Auto VW group has added two stunning looking sedans to their portfolio. I myself was confused between the two. I slightly liked the Virtus more and hence went ahead with the pre-booking. I did consider Honda City e:HEV as well. But for now, Virtus has my vote. I will take the final call once I TD the Virtus and the City Hybrid (have already TDed the Slavia).

Re: Volkswagen Virtus, now unveiled

The red GT line looks fabulous except for the chrome outside and the red panel inside. But I think that the chrome will not be so obvious on other colours, and could go well with the Silver and Carbon Steel Grey. I believe only the red GT has the red panel on the dash inside. The other colours on the GT are devoid of the red dash and more subtle. Atleast that's what I could infer from the 360 view on the VW web page. Overall I think it's a good looking car from the outside and definitely better looking than other sedans in the sub 25 lakh segment. Further impressions may change once I see it up close. As far as the quality of the interiors are concerned, really need to get inside one to comment. But I sincerely hope VW does a fair job with the interiors as I am definitely considering the Virtus GT as the replacement for my present Global Fiesta.

Styling is a personal opinion. What I’m more interested to see is if they have applied some of the learnings and customer feedback from the Taigun into this car. If they have then they have a winner.
The GT trim in red looks absolutely smashing.

GT line looks stunning. I might get a back up car down the line if offered in manual transmission. Just have to appreciate manual cars while they last.

Re: Volkswagen Virtus, now unveiled

Walk-arounds of Virtus are starting to pop out.

In this one linked below - I am not able to understand how will the white color car be placed in the variant line up? It is an automatic but without an auto AC!

A deliberate trim to save cost or is it the chip shortage?

Those fog lamps look out of place in the front on an otherwise extremely handsome car - they should have gone the Kia way and place some vertically. Looks smashing on a red Kia!

I am falling in love with the Virtus with every video/image that comes out, just amazing and perfect looker for a last ICE car!

Skoda just launched the Kushaq also in a similar trim, it's known as Ambition Classic, being twins I am sure both will be following the same nomenclature.

Totally agree. It has grown on me since static reveal to these media drives itself. I am just imagining how amazing it would be to own one.

That’s the timeless VW designs perhaps.

I will be in the market for a car for my wife. Although we need a small car. I am now thinking to pass on the first gen cresta I have to the missus and get my hands on this delicious one.

Re: Volkswagen Virtus, now unveiled

Reminds me so much of the Jetta, especially the proportions and the tail lights. Media reviews drop on the 6th!
Slavia or Virtus- It will be a "multiverse of madness" surely in more than one way that day

The Red looks an absolute cracker...wasn't sure when i booked the car in March end, but i feel the design has been growing on me and it feels like forever waiting for this...Cant wait to lay my hands on one. Though the alloys seem simpler than the Dynamic line due to all black treatment and the red insert inside the cabin is something that needs to be seen...but guess can live with it..

Re: Volkswagen Virtus, now unveiled

Spotted the Virtus GT in red colour today in the evening in front of VW dealership when I was going home. But, unfortunately, couldn't take the picture as I was riding and I'll try to take a pic when I go that side.

And, IMO, the car looked hot in red colour when seen from far.
