Skoda Rapid Rider sold out for 2020

It seems Skoda have silently reintroduced the Rapid Rider for 2021 at 7.79 lakhs.

I noticed this while browsing through their website.

Spotted a lot of Rapids at the in the PPS Yard near Yelahanka - Kogilu Cross. Not sure of which variant these were.

Spotted a Blue VRS245 and one more under the cover, could not make out the color.

The Yard is shared between VW, Ford and Skoda brands from PPS.

So that makes the Rider variant more expensive by Rs. 30000 compared to last year.

I'm not sure of what features have been added to the Rider variant as compared to the 2020 model. However, considering the current features on offer, it still seems good value for money.

Also, at 8.19 lakhs, the price of Rider Plus has been increased by Rs. 20000.

I don't think that apart from the touch screen head unit and 2 additional choices of colours, the Rider Plus variant offers anything more over the Rider. For that, an additional Rs. 50000 is pretty steep. At that price, one can get the same quality of HU ( maybe even better quality) after-market and some other important accessories (such as seat covers) as well.

The Rapid rider is back on sale, here are 2 photos I clicked of the car. Ex showroom is Rs. 7.79 lakhs. According to the SA, there is no current stock coming of the Rider plus variant.

I shortlisted Rapid rider as it fell in my 10 lakhs on road Bangalore budget. Was very disappointed yesterday to know from Tafe Access that Rapid rider and rapid plus have been discontinued and there are no stocks across India. Have already checked with PPS skoda mysore road and tafe access KR puram. Anyone would know if there are leads within Karnataka

Several friends of mine say SKODA is the "unbranded" most reliable euro car one could get.
