Maruti's Arena is 3 years old and has 745 outlets across India

In 2017, Maruti Suzuki announced that its sales outlets would be rebranded as Maruti Suzuki Arena. The company has now announced that it has opened 745 such outlets across the country in 3 years.

According to Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director Marketing & Sales, the Arena dealerships were launched to meet the expectations of a young audience.

The showrooms feature interactive touchscreens and a personalisation zone, where customers are able to mix and match accessories and configure their vehicles. The showrooms also have a cafe & a consultation area along with an owners' lounge. Relationship managers are equipped with tablets preloaded with an app for customers to browse and compare different models and variants. Customers can also book or customize their vehicles through i-Create.

At present, Maruti Suzuki has over 2,300 sales outlets, out of which 745 are Arenas. Models like the Alto, S-Presso, WagonR, Celerio, CelerioX, Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza and Ertiga are sold through Arena dealerships.

Re: Maruti's Arena is 3 years old and has 745 outlets across India

MSIL has a good pipeline of properies (for both Arena and Nexa) and for now they are not planning any major expansion of network. A friend who works with MSIL had told me this. He also mentioned about recent pickup in sales enquiries and conversion of leads (approx 20,000/day of leads for last few days) indicating good market response, esp for entry level cars. But MSIL feels that current network is good enough to cater to this requirement.
