Jaguar F-Type Facelift listed on website

Recently, the Jaguar F-Type facelift was listed on the official website. Now, the company has revealed the prices of the new F-Type, which is priced between Rs 95.12 lakh to Rs 2.42 crore (ex-showroom India).


The new Jaguar F-Type is available in nine variants across six trims. The coupe gets three engines - a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol unit that makes 296bhp and 400Nm. There's also a 5.0-litre V8 motor that is available in two tunes - 444bhp/580Nm and 567bhp and 700Nm. All the powertrains are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

They have also removed the 6 cylinder option.

Somehow the design of this car doesnt appeal to me. By itself its a pretty car, but compared to its predecessor, its design seems like an after-thought.

I agree. The previous gen F-Type was a thing of beauty.

This one is fairly handsome compared to other makes, but the front looks a bit plain.

Also the previous supercharged V6 variant was the best sounding engine (liked it better than the V8 one) - and it's gone now.

Jaguar opens booking for F-Type R-Dynamic Black model in India.

The model to be available for Indian customers will be powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 444 hp and 580 Nm. 0 to 100 kmph comes in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 285 kmph.

On the inside, the Jaguar F-Type R-Dynamic Black range will get driver-focused ‘1+1’ cabin.

The R-Dynamic Black range gets an all-black theme with 20-inch five split-spoke wheels with gloss black finish. It will be offered with choice of three metallic paints - Santorini Black, Eiger Grey or Firenze Red.

Glad to see a lot of dials and buttons in cabin. When I see too many touchscreens on some of the other top end cars I worry about it being distraction to the driver.
