The Mahindra KUV100 NXT was available in 18 different configurations before the BS6 upgrade. Now, it is available in only 4 configurations. Diesel engine option is no longer available. Mahindra has also discontinued the K2 and K8 Dual Tone grades of the KUV100 NXT.

The Mahindra KUV100 NXT is available in only the K2+, K4+, K6+ and K8 carried over grades now. Buyers can have it as a five-seater or as a six-seater. Under the hood, there’s an upgraded, BS6 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine. Like the BS4 version, it produces 82 BHP of maximum power at 5,500 rpm and 115 Nm of maximum torque at 3,500-3,600 rpm, it is available only with 5-speed manual transmission.

I'm surprised to see that KUV is able to withstand the wrath of BS6 norms and the corona pandemic. I really thought that they'll discontinue this car.
And why are they portraying the middle portion between passenger and driver seat as the 6th seat? Have they gone nuts?

Good job done by Mahindra by simplifying the variants in the KUV 100 NXT. This was never received well by public and there is no reason to continue with 18 variants to a flop model.

When I was finalizing my TUV 300, I also came across the KUV 100. It was launched recently and SA was trying to sell it to me as Micro SUV. I was speechless with his confidence. I remember asking him "Why is such small and ugly car priced so high?".

The only way this model can survive, is via e-KUV.

This contraption is still on sale? I thought it had been discontinued. Rather surprised to see Mahindra putting in the effort to make it BS6 compliant. Should have let it die.

There is no point in continuing KUV100 with the current shape. The front and rear are bearable, but the devil is in its side profile.

Who will think that a car with this imposing front end will have such a nasty side profile!
