I talked to the Jeep dealership in Calicut and they said they are taking pre-bookings for facelifted Compass and TrailHawk for an amount of 50,000/- rupees. The amount is fully refundable and the colour/variant can be changed when the actual booking starts. They don't have any information on the variants or pricing of the face-lifted Jeep Compass at the moment. I am pre-booking a TrailHawk tomorrow

I wish Jeep brings the dark interior to India. The dark interior is the only reason for me to buy TrailHawk instead of Limited Plus AT.



The image shows a sports mode, not sure if it's going to make it to India.

Oh yes! I hope the dark interiors become the default colour this generation. The whole interiors were not that hard to clean from what I heard but still would prefer the darker shades. The colour option for the exterior also seem very different from the ones available in India now.
The features mentioned on the website seem to be in line with what we heard earlier except for the connected/smart car features that seem to have been added. Hoping that also shows up in the Indian version since many of those features are already available in cheaper cars in the segment.

Are you sure that's the Trailhawk variant?
The instrument cluster is analog in the video. Also I don't think the bezels are that big for all the variants. Could be a different variant. Just like you even I have been curious about the facelift and I spent quite some time on the Chinese website. There is a variant in the facelift with an 8.4inch screen. The one shown in the video might be that.

The car in the video isn't TrailHawk but the layout of TrailHawk's dashboard will be the same.

I booked a TrailHawk but I can change the variant when the actual bookings commence. I still haven't decided if I should go for a black limited plus or red TrailHawk, there is a price difference of about 3 lacs on road.

Sorry Pancham... Missed your post altogether. The discount was 1.5 lacs on the exshowroom price and I got the logistics charges waived off which takes the total discount to 1.6 from the dealer.

Rest I could save close to 55 on the insurance by getting it done on my own.

So in toto 2.15 lacs on the list price.

In my mind I am guessing thats a saving of close to 2.5 -3 as compared to the facelift as I am sure the new one will have a slight price bump and no discounts.

This appears to be the equivalent version of the current Longitude Plus (or even Sport Plus). The Limited Plus / Trailhawk will get the bigger 10.1" screens I think. Overall, I think a pretty neat facelift without straying away from the Compass look.

I was waiting for this facelift version to launch, before impatience got the better of me and I got my Compass in Sep 2020. I'm glad i got the nice discounts though. The facelift won't be getting any discounts to start with. Not to mention the inevitable price hike (i hope FCA doesn't get too greedy. They had already hiked prices for BS6).

BTW, Is it me, or does the Jeep Compass have the most number of alloy wheel variants of any current car model?
