Yeah, I already did that. They mentioned it's a typo and it's 110PS.

Prerana motors in Blr told me its now 118bhp up from 110bhp on the older model. The brochure on the website mentions 120bhp.
If they are going to release a turbo petrol Altroz this power bump is a logical move else there will be some serious discontent among Nexon buyers.

Well that is correct. Brochure mentions 120PS which is approximately 118bhp.

Tata motors had silently updated the Nexon brochure in their website with the new power figures for the petrol variant in the beginning of last month itself. I happened to download the Nexon brochure twice, once near the end of January and again during the beginning of February. On checking these brochures again after reading this news on Team-BHP, noticed that the brochure downloaded during January had old figures while the one downloaded at the beginning of February was the updated one.

The engine power figures of the petrol variant in the earlier one was 110 PS @ 5000 rpm whereas in the newer one it is updated as 120 PS @ 5500 rpm. Also noticed there is a slight change in the diesel variant power figures as the max power of 110 PS which was at 3750 rpm, now comes at 4000 rpm. Apart from the changes in the engine specs the new brochure also mentions a change in the rear suspension setup. In the earlier brochure the rear had a Semi-Independent suspension having a closed profile Twist Beam with Dual path Strut whereas in the updated version the Dual path Strut has been replaced by a Coil Spring and shock absorber setup.

Have finally taken the plunge!!

Booked Tata Nexon (Petrol) XZA+ (O) dual tone yesterday. Color chosen is Green (without actually seeing one). Fingers Crossed!!

Facelift Petrol Nexon does get a 120PS motor as confirmed to me by a dealer. I also test drove this variant. I will post my test drive experience in the other thread.
